Nikhil Sawant is a strategic leader, creative problem-solver and master organizer. And so, it should come as no surprise that he's found a career in information technology and a home at E4E Relief as both Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer. His current role gives him the ability to enhance the experience of clients and applicants in a way that marries compassion with timely relief.
Nikhil leads the Information Technology and Business Services groups and also serves as the EVP of Business Services and CIO at our parent organization, Foundation For The Carolinas. He is responsible for using data and technology to enhance the digital experience of clients and applicants, while improving the operational capabilities of the organization. Prior to joining E4E Relief, Nikhil worked at Snyder's-Lance carving a path in several leadership roles as an innovative change agent, most recently as SVP, CIO and Business Process Management Officer.
Nikhil has been active in several local and national organizations throughout his career. He currently serves on the board of directors of Crisis Assistance Ministry, Mecklenburg County's leading agency providing the working poor with emergency rent and utility assistance, clothing, household goods and furniture. He also serves on the board of the Technology Association of Grantmakers, an association for technology professionals using the power of technology to advance the goals of the philanthropic sector.
"There's no other discipline that touches every dimension of the business like IT does. When I see increased user collaboration and better customer experience, it's a really good feeling to know my team helped make that happen."
